Rock mandala

I've always wanted to make a mandala out of rocks. I found the perfect beach on the Oregon coast that had all the rocks in the world!

I found it very meditational to create this by finding the perfect rock, size and color. 

The rock you see in the middle was the absolute best rock. It was smooth and egg shaped. I wanted to take it home but the hike out was a bit too far.

Creating this was also about letting go. I knew that high tide would come and take it all away. But still I felt I needed to create it.
