Twilight - original painting

The sun slips away and leaves hues of blues, pinks and purples across my garden. A few butterflies flit around feeding on the still warm nectar. The long stems of the coneflowers look like skyscrapers in their world giving shelter to the slugs. There is a hushed calm only broken by the song of the cricket. This is twilight.

The original painting was created with acrylics, ink, on a hardwood canvas. Edge is painted black.
