I had a little tea party this afternoon at 3.
Three guest in all
Just I, myself and me.
Myself ate all the sandwiches,
while I drank up the tea;
'Twas also I who ate the pie
and passed the cake to me.
 
My 88 year old grandma was taught this little rhyme in first grade and she still remembers it today! It reminds me of her love of words and of the past. This beloved poem was written by Jessica Nelson North.
 
Created with mixed media consisting of dictionary pages - note the tea reference in the teapot. Old fashion tea cups grace the background.  Acrylics, paper, ink and love. This is a limited edition of 100 archival prints.
